It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that I write to inform you about an exciting endeavor that Genesian Port is embarking upon – the planning and execution of the En’Kara 2024 Fair. At this time, we are anticipating that the fair will run from March 14th, when the road to the fair opens, through March 24th, with the closing ceremonies. Genesian Port, known for its commitment to fostering community and camaraderie within the Gorean roleplay universe, is teaming up with Brundisium to lead this extraordinary event. We would like to invite you all to join us in making this fair a resounding success.

The En’Kara 2024 Fair aims to bring together sims from across the Gorean spectrum, transcending the differences between by-the-book, Gorean evolved, and lifestyle sims. Our primary goal is to celebrate the common bonds that unite us all within this vibrant community. It is our belief that, despite the nuances that make each sim unique, we share far more in common than we sometimes realize. This fair will serve as a platform to emphasize the importance of inclusivity and unity among us.

We would like to extend our gratitude to the hosts of the 2023 event, whose dedication and hard work laid the foundation for this year’s gathering. We can now build upon their legacy and continue to strengthen the bonds that connect us all. Together, we will make the En’Kara 2024 Fair a memorable celebration of Gorean culture and camaraderie.

To ensure that the En’Kara 2024 Fair becomes a memorable and exceptional event, Genesian Port is seeking to raise funds to cover the costs associated with hosting three sims. These sims will form the backbone of the fair, offering a diverse range of activities, entertainment, and opportunities for interaction. The breakdown of costs is as follows:

• Main Event Sim: $449
  • 175 avatar limit
  • More than 20% improvement in script performance
  • Extended chat range (upon request) — allowing everyone on the region to see and participate in Nearby Chat if desired
• Full-Region 20k Prim Sim 1: $349
• Full-Region 20k Prim Sim 2: $349

These expenses account for the majority of the fair’s budget, and we are committed to making this event a reality for the entire Gorean community. To achieve this, we intend to host a series of fundraising events leading up to the fair, and we cordially invite all sims of Gor to participate in this noble cause.

We extend our heartfelt invitation to those sims that wish to support this Gorean community event by either making a donation or hosting a fundraising event on their sim. Every contribution, whether financial or through active participation, will be greatly appreciated and will play a vital role in the success of the En’Kara 2024 Fair.

Our overarching goal is to create an annual tradition that grows stronger with each passing year.
