From Vixen:

Nearly twenty years ago, I stepped into an IRC server. The German city of Venna. At the time it was a fully text-based Gorean world: no graphics, no visuals beyond what our words could create. I joined, and soon my character found her place as Alexandria Augustina Lunaria Stargazer of Venna.

For several years, we roleplayed daily, building a living story filled with twists and turns unlike anything I had experienced before. Out of that world grew friendships I still cherish to this day.

Eventually, things grew quiet. IRC faded, and with a small group of us still longing to continue, we looked for a new home. I discovered SL Gor and slowly began drawing people there. We joined the Isle of Cos, and later moved to the City of Olni under a false name, Vixen Gates (the full story can be told on request).

Then my health declined, and sadly I had to step away from SL and from roleplay altogether. Even so, I stayed in touch with everyone, and when the time finally came that I could sit up long enough again, I returned. Through it all, a dream kept quietly growing.

On June 23rd, we took the first steps, securing the region and beginning the build.

Now, six months later, I look back with deep gratitude at the group of people who dared to place their trust in me and gave me the courage to bring Venna to life in SL. As the holidays approach, I want to thank each and every one of you. For your trust, for believing in me, and for simply being here.

To both old friends and new who joined us along the way: I love you all.

In the shadowed heart of 15th-century Romania, the remote village of Dracul has succumbed to darkness; not merely to the rule of vampires, but to a cataclysm that has shaken the very boundaries of reality. What began as a slow conquest by the blood-born has spiraled into something far stranger… and far more dangerous.

The Veil Has Torn

Without warning, the gateways between Haven, Hell, Limbo, and Earth ruptured. Cracks in the fabric of creation itself now yawn open across the land, spilling entities from every realm into the mortal world. No scholar, angel, or demon truly understands why the veil has shattered. Some whisper of a forgotten curse reawakening; others blame celestial betrayal or infernal sabotage.

The havens wept as the gates were torn asunder, and Earth: caught between fury and fire, became the battlefield of gods, monsters, and those desperate enough to stand between them.Order of Dracul

What is certain is this: the natural order is no more.

  • From the Havens descend radiant beings with divine purpose… but even they are fractured in their mission.
  • From Hell, demonic forces pour forth; some seeking dominion, others strangely cautious, as if fearing what lurks beyond their gates.
  • The souls of Limbo drift between, half-formed, half-forgotten, whispering truths none wish to hear.
  • And in the midst of it all, Earth stands as a chaotic crossroads; where humans, vampires, and refugees from all realms scramble for meaning, power, or mere survival.
The Village of Dracul

Ottoman EmpireAt the epicenter of this upheaval is Dracul, a once-quiet borderland village that now serves as a crossroads of power. Vampires rule the streets by night, their ancient bloodlines awakened. Celestials hold court in crumbling chapels. Demons bide their time in shadowed crypts and winding catacombs. Even mortals, clinging to old faith or new fury, carve out space in this strange, shared dominion.

But a greater threat looms: the Ottoman Empire marches from the East, unaware, or perhaps all too aware, of the metaphysical war unfolding in this cursed place.

The fragile peace among these factions threatens to unravel. Every whispered alliance, every broken oath, every blood ritual may be the spark that sets the entire world ablaze.

The borders between Haven, Hell, and Earth have crumbled. What remains is Order of Dracul, a story forged in blood, fire, and fate.
